Hosting & server logs
When the site is accessed, technically necessary data (e.g. IP address, timestamp, requested resource) is processed by the hosting provider. The legal basis is the legitimate interest in secure operation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Contact form
If you use the contact form, the data you enter (name, email, message) is transmitted to me by email to handle your request and is stored. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(a) or (b) GDPR. The data is not shared with third parties without your consent and is deleted once it is no longer needed.
Preferences (language & theme)
When you actively choose a language or the light/dark mode, that preference is stored only locally in your browser (localStorage) and is not transmitted to the server. This is storage strictly necessary to provide the service you requested (§ 25(2) TTDSG); no consent is required for it. No cookies for analytics or marketing are set, and no tracking is used.
Links to external services
This website contains links to external services (e.g. GitHub, LinkedIn). Simply viewing the page transmits no data to these providers — only when you actively click a link do you leave this site. The linked services are subject to their own privacy policies.

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection, as well as the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
